re: Did You/Do You Homeschool Your Kids?
Posted by NyCaLa on 2/21/26 at 7:21 pm to SaintlyTiger88
We did. Our local homeschooling community produced many high achievers, better adapted socially than their public school counterparts. Just a few of the awkward families. Our daughter breezed through college, has her PhD.
The academics were secondary for us, but they excelled, not having to wait up for the many haggard. And they could develop their unique interests.

Both are great ones.

Camo tool and screws for deck boards

Re-doing my deck. Same 1x6 boards as before (I've had them in my shop, stickered and drying for months). Camo edge screws come 17/8" and 2 3/8". Which screw do you recommend?
Serious reply...Soul Oasis in that center where Alexander's Market is. A legit good massage therapist is hard to find. This is the real deal.

One of my cousins, a good player in his own right, went to Fountain Valley School with Bob. Got to share a stage with him at a school anniversary/reunion. Big thrill for him.
That is a desirable receiver. There's a whole subculture out there (isn't there one for anything?). Put it on ebay.

I know, it's Frontier...

I got one in Switzerland a few years ago. Didn't pay it. Will I have trouble when I return? Do they flag my passport or something? Or get me when I try to rent a car?

Our daughter went all the way through to PhD without debt. Actually without any significant expense. Her husband, also a PhD managed to get through with about 50k in debt. Manageable.

I hate AI. What i like about this fictional Solomon guy, though, is simply putting the scripture to music. That resonates with me where endless repetition of a pat phrase does not. Maybe Wickham and Co. should look at themselves in the mirror.

My first wife passed away and I remarried 6 years ago. She's 5 years younger. I have assets but not wealthy by any means. She has some.
Deal is, we both have grown children. Both of us wanted a prenup. Why? To eliminate, or at least reduce, confusion after we both pass away. If there's children on one side only, it's still a good idea, but mandatory in our type of scenario.
BTW, she's an A-1 winner. We are happy.

Yes, a few in an odd way, most in a good way.
Our daughter is doing just fine as a "different" homeschool grad. 2 undergrad degrees from LSU followed by a PhD and now waiting on child #3.

Had a decent pizza in Coldwater a few weeks ago. Comanche County is the location of our family farm, near Wilmore.

What a great car. Was it an XL?

Not too shabby!
I think the XL was the 427. No, his car had the 352, or was it 351?

Hint: a catechism is not the same as the Bible. Nor does it completely agree with the scriptures

In response to the OP, your doctrine needs subtlety.
God is sovereign in the macro sense, ie, He has declared the end from the beginning. Much, if not most, of what happens between the beginning and the end is manifestly not God's will and the Bible affirms this. There is a great battle raging between good and evil in spiritual realm and upon earth.
Those who love and fear the Lord must be engaged in this battle.
