OP, I showed your message to my dentist and he says to get to an oral surgeon yesterday.
He's also surprised that the hospital you did the CT scan at did not have an oral surgeon on call, that could have fixed the problem right away. This is a problem that's sitting too long. Go get it done.

We had an appt with Dentist today, but had a flat on the way and dentist wouldn't see her late.
Is this your normal Dentist? I can call my regular dentist ANYTIME for an emergency and he will see me. I would have made a scene in that office.

When I broke my jaw, the hospital had an oral surgeon meet me before I was discharged. Dentist came into play later to fix broken teeth and align bite again. Broken jaw can be a huge deal. Can't remember my original oral surgeon in BR, but donto go to him
. He'd have made you think everything healed perfectly. I had some concerns and saw another Oral surgeon and the bones weren't lined up 100% when they healed so my bite was off. Took a lot of work to fix. Also, nerve damage is a big issue. Was told numbness could stick around for a year. Luckily I never had much issue personally.
