Exactly. Reid was warned about the “nuclear option” and what the consequence would be when the pendulum swings, as it always did but he was too dumb to realize it.

Yup. The left only sees things as how it benefits them when they're in power. They never realize that the other side will eventually regain that power and use it against them.

You don't get to just say we'll use it here, but not here. Once you get rid of the filibuster, this is the natural result. The precedent is set. Reid made the bed, libs get to sleep in it today.

Again, I'm not picking a side. I think both Democrats and Republicans have done a good job fricking up our justice nomination process permanently, and we're all going to pay for it.

The court system is not supposed to be a partisan branch.

Yall started the rule changing. This is the consequence for that. Enjoy it

Welcome to politics. One side thinks there are rules; one side wants to change those rules for their opponent. When their opponents are in power, then they want to revert to the "old" rules.

I'm sure the "us vs. them" tribal mentality makes sense in your head, but not everybody shares that.

The Supreme Court is not supposed to be politicized. That's why they're given lifetime appointments and a 60 vote confirmation requirement.

Believe whatever you want. I've seen enough of your posts to know you're a waste of energy.

Ever heard of the Ninth Circus? Or how about RBG supposedly saying not to replace her until a new president was in place?

I’m certain. I don’t care to argue with you about this because the republicans will be nominating and confirming a new justice using the precedent and rules set by Harry Reid and Joseph Biden.

So if I’m handicapping this right, Murkowski is not going to vote for it. That means if Romney refuses, it’s over.

So where is Mitt on abortion?

Republicans will be replacing the most partisan justice in history.

You’re a hack.

Yeah, that was not professional. Neither was the piece Sotomayor wrote when Kavanaugh was being grilled.

Tell that to the lefties threatening to burn down the Senate if they replace RBG before the election. Shouldn't be a concern if it's not political, right?

This, coming from the idiot who denies the exception Harry Reid left when he pushed through the nuclear option in 2013.

But contrary to the rules of McConnell.
