Big fan of Pop-up Videos on MTV’s little sister station, VH1.

Should have stuck to that format instead of dumbing down the music
Unfortunately, that doesn’t sell.

You got Lucky - Tom Petty 1982

I remembered when it launched. It was pretty cool as a kid but for my parents, not so much. Outside of Circus magazine, it was where I found new music to go out and buy. Great times.

Video for All the Small Things
False. That’s the video for “First Date”
All the Small Things has them making fun of boy bands, What’s my Age Again has them running around naked, and I can’t remember which one had them just giving away money and buying random dumb stuff.

The odd impressionable things we remember are always good for a laugh.
Mtv was 57
Vh1 was 32 (I think)
The Box was 65 and it became the spice channel at night.
I'm pretty sure Christina Aguilera's Dirty video made me a man.

I watched "Making the Video" every Monday night

it really was a weird time. Watched the video then watched a video about how they made the video.
