A friend of mine bought USA opener tickets at the eye watering price. I would have said frick that, but I was able to get flights and room at cheapest award points possible which brought my total cost for room/flight/ticket to something I could stomach.
We'll see if that price collapses and we're holding the bag.

Seems like if you're going to have a deadline and the other side doesn't want to show up, the consequences of that decision need to happen when the clock runs out.

While you were close to a good point, the difference is there is no debate that the executive authority lies with the President, whether he makes one decision one time or flip flops 50.
Right now, we have multiple people in the Iranian government purporting to hold the same level of authority.
