Per nola.com, Gretna #1.

The funniest part, is the article tried to portray that as a negative.

While also dishonestly trying to compare the arrest numbers to the population, when probably most of those arrested don't live in Gretna.

If you don't want to get raped, there are alternative cloths you could wear.

If you don't want to be robbed, there are alternative cheaper stuff you could own.

Actually, this is exactly what should happen. Decent people need to start avoiding these parts of town completely. And, unfortunately, that means the legitimate businesses also.

Let's see how well these shady businesses work out. Soon they'll be the one's whining to the police to do something. Of course, what will happen is that the people and businesses in those areas will force the "mayor" to hold press conferences demanding that BR support the businesses in those areas. And she'll have some balloon release and get a group of about 10 people to walk through a few safe areas around there allegedly making contact with parents, etc. I might as well drive through those areas and let out a good old greasy fart. It will be as effective.

Bull f'ing shite! Keep the crap out your area! Speak up when you know who these pieces of cat shite are. You're too afraid to speak up but you want decent people to visit and patronize your businesses? You have mental issues.

Anyone going into these areas needs to be heavily armed.

Don’t seek out fights but a guy looking to rob you should have his head turned into a canoe.

This incident shows that you’re fricked if you try to run and can’t get away, so better to dare them that they won’t live through it.

The Regular Metropolitan Council meeting originally scheduled to take place on September 28, 2022 has been moved to September 21, 2022. The Regular Metropolitan Council Meeting on September 21st will begin after the Metropolitan Council Zoning meeting concludes.

no need to fire them all, most are leaving on their own because of the clowns running the city and department into the ground.

What they are being replaced with should terrify you.

You're blaming the wrongs group, but the ones in charge count on you doing this so as to hide their incompetence. For a little while at least. Pretty soon there will be no one else to blame, but like in other poorly run cities it will get a whole lot worse before the light shines on the real problem.

It’s not really a bike lane. It’s a lane you pull over into to wait for EMS.

They do have a point What happened is very tragic but people do need to be aware of their surroundings especially at that time of the night when an incident like that is more likely to occur She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and the odds of a train that late at night is just unbelievably horrible luck Very very sad all the way around! One turn off Govt could have saved her life. What's worse is they may never find the killer.

Better idea would be just never turn off the interstate when you pass Baton Rouge if this is what you are going with.

This has already happened in br, you eventually run out of places to go.

Florida and the mall had basically been abandoned, the mall of Louisiana is going to shite now too. Young scholars flashing guns and money taking pics with Santa clause.

Are they suggesting white people stay out of the black areas? Wonder what the reaction would be if the opposite suggestion was made?
