Sincere thanks to everyone on here. Thankful to have tons of support from a lot of different places.

As for ousting this guy and resthaven, going to make sure this gets out at some point. Hadn’t thought about sicking Nakamoto on his arse... For now, we are less than 2 weeks out from the due date so I have to focus on the family. But I guarantee you’ll see something about it on social media.

Thanks again and merry Christmas

Sick people look to take advantage of people when they ate at their lowest. Prayers to you and your family bud.

Funeral homes are shady AF. It's unbelievable what it cost to bury someone. Between the plots, the casket, etc people can barely afford to die.

I remember going with my mom the day my dad passed away (he passed early in the morning and went that day). Even with his plot already paid for, I couldn't believe how much everything else cost. I want to say, the cheapest caskets where around $2000 and that was 20 years ago.

There was this older black man who started making coffins (wooden coffins that he did a good job on, but he would sell them at a much lower price for people who were not able to afford the cost to bury someone) and the funeral home in the area forced him to stop making them.

I think they went the "he isn't a registered business" route, although it's no different that people who build swings, wooden chairs, etc and sell them on the side without actually registering as a business. So people were pretty much forced to by caskets from them.

Look, I am all for people making money and as much as they can, but what they do is taking advantage of people when they are making decisions while usually in an emotional state. It's highway robbery.

The State of Louisiana has pretty strict regulations on casket building.

Here’s a link to the St Joseph’s Abbey site, they’re in Covington and it took a while for them to get licensed to legally sell caskets in state.
