Retired Jan 1, 2022 and have absolutely loved it. I did work 6 months in 24 because I was offered more money to do a project than should be allowed and I was over my full retirement age so..no SS penalty.
Slim, stay active, find something to keep your mind and body moving, don't let the small things upset you and just by God enjoy it.

When I pass my kids will get a windfall from my unused inheritance from my dad and what my savings are. A lot of young adults are and will be inheriting huge sums of money. It explains why I often pass multi million dollar homes and see newborn baby bows hung on their mailbox. I doubt those are people my age having newborns.
Not sure where you live, but i think what you should have said are that those things are true “in my circles”.. obviously most dont care about the poors , but i think what you’re seeing isn’t representative of most Americans .
As far as all the “multi-million dollar homes and baby bows” youre passing all the time- the vast majority of them are broke, in debt, and showing off on social media the same shite you’re seeing from your F250.. they are try-hards, trying to ‘keep up with the (fill in the last name)’ and trying to impress people they don’t even like .
