I still have two. They are identical except the Starter insignia on the wrist and neck area on one is black. Didn’t like that, as I’m a traditionalist, so wore the orange and all-white insignia one much more.
I also have two satin jackets, one from the early 80s and another that looks just like this.

I still use a starter LSU duffle bag for short trips, it’s got to be 30+ years old in perfect condition

There was a guy in 4th grade who wore an atlanta Falcons starter jacket.
Went to take a piss at recess and saw someone had taken his jacket and stuffed it in a toilet. People who wore rival shite to just be confrontational were annoying.

They have remade them this year. They are too expensive though. Hope to catch them on sale when it warms up

Me and my sister got Michigan starter jackets for x mas back in 95 to be fair it was very popular and that was the name logo of my pee wee football team... stil pissed she got the pull over. My mom got my dad a Saints Pull over that year too but he didn’t wear it much not his style. Man to have that one today.

I was a little too young to actually want one but my parents would never buy me that.

I did rock the logo 7 saints jacket in 92-93 right when we moved to Ohio my mom got it for me... every one else had the starter.
