Rest in peace, Scott. Our internet dad. Brilliant man that showed you how to think about the world

ETA what kind of POS would downvote this
maybe they should make more reliable vehicles
I remember when i first started going to the real AM Mart back in 1994ish. The owner (Cory i think?) used to carry all kinds of imported beer. He would pull some out from behind the counter and let me try it when i went in. I never stopped going there. Still go once a month or so
How long until the robots realize we are not needed
I have a theory that Massie and MTG were part of his plan to lure Dems into demanding the release. I could be totally wrong

Would be interesting to sous vid a bag of trimmed fat at various temps to see what happens

I may ask everyone to save me their fat so I can try lol. I just don’t want to risk it until I know. I’d like for the big chunks to melt a bit but I don’t want the stuff in the muscle to completely dissolve. Maybe it would just stay in the meat though?
Here’s how I see it. Clinton was obviously in the files. He believes that the full, unredacted version will never be released bc it would implicate lots of powerful people and believes that Trump won’t do it. That’s why Clinton feels confident in calling for Trump to release them all. It also allows him to create an imaginary scenario that Trump is the real criminal, which he isn’t.

There is probably enough in the files to “indict a ham sandwich” out of Trump. The next Democrat president will surely do this to destroy Trump’s legacy and break MAGA credibility. They’ll be able to decide what to release.

Well, if your sous vide machine is set to 133 the meat definitely won't go above that

It’s not that I’m worried about the temperature. I’ve got an 11 lb roast and I didn’t want to cook it for too long and possibly render all the fat

I just picked a choice rib roast from Albertsons at $7.97/lb. I usually do reverse sear but this time I may go sous vide at 133 for 8 hours, then sear the hell out of it on my BGE for about 10 min

Anyone have any tips or words of wisdom on the sous vide method. I'm nervous to take it to 133 because I like rare- med rare, but the fat is not well rendered at 121 which is my go to.

I am doing the same thing. Also a bit nervous about 133 F but thats what America's Test Kitchen says to do. Im going to put a wired thermometer in the bag with it just to make sure.
I bet they ARE protecting people. Bill and Trump know this. Bill knows Trump cant release it all. This is actually a pretty sharp move. Demand it all to be released, bring doubt to his involvement, and cause people to think Trump is being protected, which I dont think is the case

I have a weldpro 2000 that you can use a spool gun on, not that i have any idea how to weld aluminum
I think Trump will release them all, unredacted, in his third act as he’s going out of office. The Left will say he doctored them and it will quietly go away.

re: rib roast pricing in your area?

I just saw choice and prime, bone-in. These were not on the website and were packaged like they were prepared in the store. Im trying to feed 10 people so I was thinking of getting a choice 11 lb, bone-in. Never done this before so if anyone has any serving size suggestions, Im all ears.

Was this bone-in or bone-out? Some of the previous posted prices are likely bone-in and may not be prime.

bone-in prime
man these prices are crazy. Costco had prime for $21/lb yesterday. Was going to go to Whole Foods bc its 20% off if youre a Prime member. I need to keep looking
