I drove over there about a year ago just killing time one day. I wanted to see if it was still as good as I remember it. That cajun turkey and pepper jack still tasted the same to me as it did in the 90s. It wasn't expensive IIRC, but not $5 like it used to be either. I lived on those damn things when I was at LSU

I love Inga's too but it's too damn hard to find parking when school is in. It was more convenient when it was in the strip mall off of State Street with Super Fresh but that thing has been gone for a long time.

This is the place

The letter claimed that a group called "Top Snatcher Klan" used the back of the store to conduct illicit activities, including drug transactions and dice games.

This is not the first time Moore considered action against the owner. In 2020 and 2021, the Sandpiper Apartments in Tigerland were featured in several 2 On Your Side reports. Over the span of five years, police responded here nearly 200 times, including a double murder and an officer-involved shooting.

Group = Baton Rouge does not have gangs, they have groups

I usually went to the Inga’s on Brightside but made sure to make a trip to the location on campus the last time I was in BR.

Half Inga’s best, half steak & cheese.

Damn.

I didn't even know this existed. We live in BR but not very close to campus so I'm not over there all that often.

Brightside is the only one we go to. Also - Faye's downtown is somehow related, as they have the same menu.

Now they'll be holding the line up at your local store - "Pack of Kool menthols, a lottery ticket, and some Swisher Sweets."
