No. Because I was on their property, in my vehicle illegally. They could have got me on trespass, breaking and entering. Plus I didn't carry a gun to go out drinking back then.

Is riverside the most hated business in Baton Rouge? I’ve never heard a single person speak in their defense and everyone who speaks about them absolutely despises them.

Somebody can correct me but I don't think they do the standard "Hey my car is broke, can I get a tow to a repair shop" deal.

It's the most publicly hated one. But behind closed doors I'd bet a few dollars the Eaton Group is hated more.
They're the state's biggest debt collector and they service all kinda shite from department store credit cards to student loans.
I'm 100% in for people paying their debts and what not but they are pretty fricking harsh in their streamlined process to frick you right in the arse with no lube.
I'm careful what to say specifically b/c I know two things to be fact:
1. they block Tigerdroppings on their company network for a reason and it ain't productivity.
2. they will sue the frick outta ANYBODY.

The first time I ever needed to call for a tow I was sure it was going to be $250+ like Riverside charges. Nope...it was only about $100 and they took it right to the dealer. Insurance even covered $75 of it.

This is both hilarious and terrifying. No, you cannot shoot tow truck employees in the head when you are stealing your car back from their business.

Riverside has to be associated with organized crime or something.
They are absolute scum. Businesses that use them should be put on blast.
They towed me once when I was legally parked and I lost my shite screaming at them (I was hungover/still kind of drunk). The lady behind the counter told me if I didn't stop yelling she'd get the "boys" to come help her. I'm pretty sure that was a physical threat.
I get my car back, it has a huge dent on the center of the bumper right above where they hooked it up. It was clearly them and they denied wrongdoing completely and said it was there before they towed me. I couldn't prove it.
