What a fun nonsensical hypothetical

It is most certainly relevant. You not liking the result is the part that's irrelevant.

The 2nd amendment is outlined in the constitution. Abortion as a individual right is not.

Until such time as you are able to have it outlined in the constitution as an individual right, it is left to the states to decide pursuant to the tenth amendment.

Be honest. You don't give two shits about legality. You only care about your personal views.

I'm not arguing to the legality of roe v wade because I'm not a lawyer, and people way more qualified than me have now decided to overturn it...so kind of a moot point, unless your only beef with Roe v Wade was it not being codified and needing to be overturned.

I just wanted to poke at the logical hypocrisy of believing banning either guns or abortions will stop people from getting guns or abortions if they really want them.

One of those is mentioned quite specifically in the constitution. The other is not.

If you have issue with that, use the proper legal steps to get it mentioned specifically in the constitution. The process is there for a reason, and has been used 27 times already

Could a state pass a law banning sex between non-married couples and it be deemed constitutional?

So why want it banned at any level if all that does is drive people to unsafe abortions and even more foster children in an already overburdened foster system?

You've been given an answer multiple times.

ABORTION ISN’T BANNED
Do you think it won't be banned very soon for millions of Americans?

That court case opinion decided to focus on "substantive due rights" rather than what it should have been focused on the equal protection clause.

So if that case does get revisited, it's almost a given that it will not get overturned, but will get a better argument for constitutionality (which is kinda what Thomas was arguing in his concurrence)

Maybe they can find a 2 for 1 special on an illegal assault rifle with 100 round clip and an abortion at the same place.

It will never be banned for millions of Americans and not for millions of others. That’s not how banning things works.

I don't want it banned. I want it to be legal nation-wide, which is why I would support an amendment to make it so.

Here's the difference between you and I though. I want it to be done correctly, and legally. You want to ignore the constitution because it doesn't fit your point of view. Now that judicial fiat has been struck down, you're all butt hurt.

You seem to struggle with understanding Constitutional rights vs perceived rights. The right to bear arms is enumerated in the Constitution. There is no Constitutional right to abortion. The states now have the right to limit or ban abortions. As they should have from the beginning of this issue.

I'm not advocating for banning of guns.

if that's what the majority of the people in my State want, that's what will happen, regardless of how I believe. If there aren't enough people on my side, that's just how democracy works.
