joe should have stayed in the vehicle. His own fault.. end of discussion

He had it coming right?

Basically.. had he stayed in his vehicle and not tried to be some hard arse he would be alive today.

Alright. Personal opinion time - Gasser is screwed. He MAY get off if he gets a VERY good lawyer but that is going to take an absolute artist to prevent him from being convicted of manslaughter.

Won't disagree there.

More evidence will be coming which will all be interesting.

Gasser allowed consent search of his home.

What were they hoping to find?

I know what you mean, but I don't know if "screwed" is the best way to frame it. If he committed manslaughter, then he deserves whatever is coming to him.

Most of them were directed at the black official who was part of the press conference last week

And if Gasser doesn't chase him down after the initial incident he wouldn't have been arrested for manslaughter.

Agreed. Probably not the best choice of word. But yes, he's screwed. His statements conflict with reconstruction efforts, obviously. From his perspective, he is definitely screwed.

Based on what we know now, I would have a hard time not convicting him.

No clue what they were hoping to find but I'd assume that is standard practice. Normand said they didn't find anything that was cause for concern but if they found a cache of AR-15s then he would have had concern. Not sure what that means, exactly.

I love it, 30 minute press conference and it's time to sentence him already.

I'm just giving my honest opinion. Based on what we know now. There are facts of this case that we may never be privilege to.

But you failed to mention Glasser who admittedly got irritated when he was cut off and took off after McKnight

He would be but Gasser is still most likely going to be in jail for a while for killing him.

What a clown show

This guy Glasser sounds like a moron, which I guess I already knew. At least he will make things much easier for the DA and jury

This. Normand didn't go into details, but based on what we learned last week I thought Gasser would walk without a charge. I think assuming that the new information is significant and bad for Gasser is a safe bet.
