I am shocked that Brown would have allowed genital mutilation. At the very least I would have expected a supporting dissent written by her clerks.
She is (surprise, surprise) a black woman and surely has been listening in the past three decades at the uproar of African mothers taking their daughters back home to Africa to remove their clitorises under unsanitary conditions. Because it was part of their native culture.
