Get ProPILOT. As much as you drive, you'll like it. I'd skip the SR and get an SV instead. You sound like you'd prefer the 17 in. wheels over the SR's 19 in. wheels.

I drove an SL from CT to DC after Thanksgiving and was impressed. ProPILOT's auto-steering works well and the safety equipment isn't annoying. It wasn't a fun car to drive like my Mazda, but it was a quiet and capable highway cruiser. I also think it looks nice, better than an Accord or Camry.

Car idiot here. Traveling sales guy that drives sedans into the ground. Currently have 225k on my Altima

Looking at getting a 2018-2019 sedan similar like an Accord or Altima or Camry.

I found one I liked but it’s a sport model and has sport tuned suspension.

How big of a deal is this and is a deal breaker? It says online you feel the road more so I’m imagining feeling every bump and piece of gravel.

What's your budget?

My daughter once had an Altima, was a money pit, to put it lightly.
I drove a couple of newer Altima and Rogue company cars, they left me very disappointed, shitty handling. My 10 year old Saabs could make circles around them...

I will say that the low profile tires suck for city driving

How is hitting the curb the tire's fault?

Oh. I see. Why'd you put curbs in the kitchen?

No cvt issues on my current or previous high mileage Altimas either.

Typically on Altimas you get slightly stiffer anti sway bar which really improves cornering. The ride will not be much stiffer.
