Mine is shared with a buddy and it’s $350 a month. It’s $500 a month as a single member. Have access to all 5 of their locations.

Holy shite I'm doing this (Bruco, we'll split it). Sounds too good to be true.

If you don't mind me asking which one do you go through? And you can just reserve a boat and take it out for the whole day if you want?

Alfonso.

Every time I read chicago I have the same reaction as when I read NOLA. It's fun to visit. But the inmates and running the asylum.

This is the one downtown, however, they allow day of rentals at their Shem Creek club, Isle of Palms (starting very soon), St. John’s, and Bohicket marinas.

Yep can reserve half or full days. There are limits as to how many reservations you can have set up at a time, but it’s still a great deal

Really appreciate the info. This thread has been great.

Also, GasMan, why do you say to not join Freedom? That is one that's actually close to where we'll be living.

I emailed the Carefree Boat Club...$429 a month, but they have a $6,000 initiation fee. That's a sizable up front commitment.

Also consider it doesn't take long to make friends with people with boats in Charleston. Ettiquette is pay for ga$, stay relatively sober enough to help clean up when the day is done, and don't be a jackass, and you will get invites. People are always looking for people to split gas with.

Nice. I just moved out to Charlotte about 7 months ago. It's nice out here.

Greenville, SC is also a great place to live. I think when you move to the Carolinas, it’s a question of do you want to be near the coast or mountains, or you could live in the middle and be close to both.

They have a huge initiation fee. The one I posted (along with their sister clubs) has no initiation fee. Literally just month to month. All brand new Sportsman CC between 17-24’.

I’m a SeaBreeze member as well. It’s legit.

Only thing about SeaBreeze is there may be a wait list. They do a pretty good job maintaining a solid membership number. You can download the app and book reservations for half day, full day, etc.

We probably know eachother

Also, I have it on hood authority that Seabreeze has 2 spots open, St Johns has upwards of 10 available, Shem Creek is wait list, and Bohicket is wide open.

Maybe, it’s a small town for sure. You LSU alum? I feel like I hardly know any LSU folks here.

Also, F that train which sometimes blocks you from getting to the marina.

Thats good to know as well. I grew up on a lake (in the summer at least), and was a waterski instructor/boat driver for years at the girls camp on our lake. So I'm pretty comfortable in that environment.

I'm talking during the actual shutdown. Literally nothing was open. I asked a few ladies to go for a walk with cocktails but no dice.

It’s a game changer man. Taking the boat out by Kiawah in the summer time and early fall…nothing better. Random boat parties pop up all over. Think it’s a 30 mile radius you’re given with it? Could be slightly off on that.
