Fair enough. The only difference is she didn't have aspirations of moving to the US. She agreed to let her Aunt run the profile but I don't think either us actually thought we end up together.

I get that. I met a super hot Romanian girl from Toronto on Match about 6 years ago when I lived in Houston. Dated for about 3 months. Never ever thought that would happen.

I just spoke with the wife this morning. For those wondering her political views, I asked her. Basically she doesn't like politics. She was against the revolt in 2014 and she is against what Putin is doing now and supports Ukraine's freedom.
The Ukrainian army is now in her city of Lisichansk. This was bad news for me. This means there could be fighting in her city if the Russian army shows up. She told me the soldiers are dirty, tired and hungry. She also told me they are checking documents of people in the grocery store. She told me that Americans would be asked to leave or be arrested.
I was surprised to hear this. I understand Russian soldiers arresting me if I went there, but I did not expect the Ukrainian army to arrest me. The decision to leave Ukraine is looking more like the best decision as I would not be able to help my family from a jail cell. Emotionally though, I wish I was there and have still been planning on getting there end of March.
The groceries are still open in Lisichansk but running out of supplies. There is no more baby formula. Mothers that can't breast feed will turn to boiling cow's milk. This isn't very healthy for babies under 12.
She mentioned that in Kiev, 14 and 15 year old boys are taking on arms to fight. Her son is 15. He belongs to this indoor climbing club and they have been teaching him how to shoot.
They have also entered the city of Kharkiv where she has two cousins, including the family I stayed with. I have a photo of her cousin's son in a cafe with us that I took on Feb. 12th. He is the cutest, sweetest boy and is learning English in school. I will try to attach his photo.
Ukrainians are very kind and sharing people even though they don't have much.
The wife is staying strong, the are stoic people. However, I am starting to sense some emotions of fear from her. I have my ups and downs but it has been a struggle for me as well.

Man you give a behind the scenes glimpse of what this is like for people caught in the crosshairs of this insanity. I will say a prayer for you and your family.

I also met a Eastern European women on Bumble. I never got her to the meet up stage though and I pretty much was ghosted. Hey, it happens. She was fine as wine though in her pictures. I wasn’t sure it wasn’t a fake profile until we talked. Still may have been faked, but she was definitely a woman and definitely from somewhere else.

Neither of us are into politics. I knew she was against the revolt in 2014. She has made some snarky comments about Poroshenko and Zelensky in the past.
As for me "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Jesus told us to prey for God's kingdom, which will be the end of these man ruled kingdoms.

I can’t read 26 pages but did you leave your wife in Ukraine and left? It is refreshing that you didn’t beg TD to send you money to fly out like others have in the past. Good luck to you and your family.

My recap on P. 22 will be an easier way of looking at what went into that thought process. In short I had obligations in the states and I didn't have a visa to stay more than 90 days. If I would known Russia was going to invade, I would have stayed. That comment might look silly to an American but in Ukraine it was a valid question. There was never a feeling or belief in Ukraine that Russia would invade. They have been on their border in mass for almost a year. They didn't even stock up on supplies, just in case. This could actually make the humanitarian situation there worse.
