Fuller was a stand up guy, pretty sharp, and is a well respected criminal attorney.

He's all those things, as far as I know. He's at least smart enough to tell the media his client is not guilty, which somehow shocks the legal minds of the OT.

Not justifiable at all but it does sound like there's a lot more to this story. The business about the cop that killed the perp's father is a strange twist.

He got out of his vehicle, and approached Smiths vehicle then shot Smith. There is absolutely no case for self defense even if Smith had a weapon in his hand while he was shot. The shooter made the decision to approach and fire..

I'm glad you aren't an attorney. You'd apparently be telling the media your client is a guilty piece of shite.

Wish it would happen if true, just once.

Pierre Thomas wasnt in the car.

my guess as to what happened is Smith rear ended the guy, had prob been drinking so tried to flee. Guy caught up and rammed Smith from back after Smith had been impeded by the Impala. They got into argument. Hayes will claim Smith reached for something, so he shot him

Cop wasn't the killer.

He was named as being on scene.

This will be TrayvonMartin all over again. "Stand your ground".

Hopefully this will show people how stupid that law is, as worded.

"Verbal altercation" ensued.

What if he thought Smith was reaching for a gun?

No stand your ground here bud, maybe if they were both out of their vehicles.

No it is not! You can't just start firing rounds at people. The shooter will go to jail for a long time.

Even if Smith threatened to kick his arse this is not enough to start shooting. This is a lot like a case that happened a few years ago where a guy got his neighbor to threaten him so he could shoot him. He ended up in jail 20 to life.

Smith was shot in his vehicle. As was the wife.. maybe you should spend less time trying to be a know it all and get yourself some facts.

Yes, he was shot in his vehicle. But you seem think Hayes walked up to Smith's vehicle and just blew his brains out.

Then he should have not followed Smith. Once he followed he lost the right to defend himself from someone that was maybe going to get a weapon.

Uh. Reading comprehension?

Allegedly the perp's father was killed by a cop. That cop happened to have been involved in some way. Not just as a responder.
