Learn to ski. Don't be a poser, brobrah, knuckledragger, etc. You'll plateau easily and get bored with it after 4 seasons.

Yea, so I already know how to board and am pretty good at it. I might checkout skiing a couple times just to see what it's like, but I def know what I'm doing on a board and will be hitting the backcountry the minute I get to the slopes.

One more question. I'm looking into boots now, and they're describing the stiffness of the boot. How in the world would I know what stiffness I want? Are less stiff ones softer? Any help is appreciated!

Follow-up question. From looking at the sizing chart I'm supposed to get between a 156-162cm. I'm 6'0 and 175.
The board I'm looking for has a 155 and a 161. Which would you lean towards? What's the difference in length mainly result in?
TIA

Height should be irrelevant. I weigh 185 and ride a 159. Rode a 163 and found it to be too long. I would find a different board. I feel 155 might be too short and 161 is too long

Longer the board, it is more stable riding. Shorter the board, it is easier to turn

Lib Tech skate banana snowboard. It's perfect for what you want to do, trust me. Oh and 157-159 is your fit. Good luck!
