I don't feel good and I wanted to chit chat with people (instead of work) and no one has wanted to chit chat with me today.
I should have come here sooner bc now I'm all "blah" feeling. Pick on GB more so I can cheer up.
ETA: Wanted to chit chat with people I actually wanted to talk to.

What kind of controversy?
I don't know the full story but apparently some of the family thinks it was not really SIDS and instead they did something to the baby.

Parents propping bottles at night?
Stuffed animals in the crib?
Pillows and big bumper pads in the crib?
Parents one of those hippies that believe in the "family bed"?
I really don't know the details enough to answer these questions. He's pretty tore up about his great-nephew passing and I'm not about to interrogate him with too many questions.
I just remember you work with kids and babies and wanted to get your opinion on whether or not SIDS is a real thing and how common it is.

Reb, no one batted an eye when I told them I had a cassette of SWASS, By Sir-Mix-A-Lot. I have credibility.

I'm sure it's a real thing.....but I'm also sure parents will not always fess up that they did one of the things I mentioned earlier which could easily cause the baby to aspirate or suffocate.

I think you'll pull through and be just fine. However, if you don't, I'd be honored to perform an acapella version of dream weaver at your funeral.

10-4. They've tasked me with putting together a charity poker run for the family and after he told me about how some of the others in the family reacted, it made me worry that after we attached our name to this charity poker run we'd find out she or the dad had killed the baby.

I'll be doing Dust in the Wind, if I can keep it together long enough.

I don't recall claiming I was intelligent. Try again.
