I always use Benny's for oil. They’re slow but service is great.

They stripped out my oil plug and caused my car to have a slow leak. They claimed "it just needed to be tightened" when I brought it back in but it continued to leak.
Mavis is just as bad, perhaps worse, tried to not let my daughter (no pics) leave "because her breaks were too dangerous to get back on the road" and wanted to charge us for a full front and rear break job that was quoted for more than the dealership. She only needed new pads on her front breaks. Written on their breakroom calendar was "break even today"! They are a pack of grifters that prey on customers.

I am finally done with these guys.
Just avoid Speedee's Oil Change.

The co-owner and president of SpeeDee Oil Change was sentenced Tuesday to six months in jail and two years of home incarceration for aggravated second-degree battery after a February trial that included an allegation that Mandeville's mayor had used undue influence in helping his well-heeled acquaintance.
Gary Copp, 53, of Madisonville, must report Monday to the St. Tammany Parish jail in Covington by 10 a.m.
He was convicted of a 2006 attack that left Paula Rome, a single mother of two children, with severe cognitive handicaps, including short-term memory loss.
According to testimony, Copp and Rome exchanged words Feb. 22, 2006, at the Cru Wine Bar in Mandeville. Rome and the state attorney general's office said Copp slung Rome off her bar stool and then, while she was on the ground, stomped on her head several times with the heel of his cowboy boot.
In addition to the jail time, state District Judge Peter Garcia ordered Copp to attend anger management classes, perform 500 hours of community service and pay a $10,000 fine.

Went to a grand opening and was told my cabin air filter was clogged. It’s located behind my glove box and has been removed for years.
I politely declined and was then told that if I did not replace it, it would cause my engine to overheat.

Those discount oil change places pull bums off the street to change your oil. I always laugh when people complain they screwed something up because you get what you pay for with those kinds of places
I think fast food restaurants do the same

Where’s all the people that post they don’t do their oil changes and laugh at the rest of us that do? Not because it’s cheaper but because we know it will be done right with the right oil/filter and a ton of other benefits.
Where are they?
Where are they?

A mechanic friend of mine suggested I change my own oil and to NEVER use Take 5. He said they use crappy oil, for starters.
