CLIFF NOTES

Creeper knocked up (raped) a 16 y/o he took home from a bar, some idiots say there is more to the story but that does not discount the fact a thirty year old man knocked up a 16 y/o. Also Owlie does not think much of Oweo.

So in your mind theres a scenario where a 32 year old taking home a drunk 16 year old and fricking her is just "being a good guy"

I am genuinely curious how many on here are basically this dude and going through some mental gymnastics to avoid acknowledging the fact they are fricking predators

Possibly because having sex with a 16yo when you are in your thirties is rape. The calendar has no bias.

Sorry I do not view all rape claims through the same lens. Forcible rape, a 30 year old knowingly banging a 16 year old, and a 30 year old banging a 16 year old he thought was 18 are all wildly different. Sensible people know this.

Did you just accuse people who disagree with you of being predators? What a joke

What if the daughter requested the dad be the legal parent--

The statutory thing is what it is but there is obviously a whole other side of this story.

What exactly are you disagreeing with?

That there is a scenario where a 32 year old man takes home a drunk 16 year old and fricks her and he's just being a "good guy?"

Ignorance is typically a poor legal defense strategy. You knock up a 16 year old half your age, you better have proof or witness corroboration that she told you she was eighteen.

Both are still rape, albeit different degrees with different penalties. So where do you draw that line 15, 14, 12, 10?

I’m not willing to wreck a dudes life over someone who was in a bar drinking as an adult. Obviously 12 and 10 would look like a child but 16 and 17 year olds can easily look like adults.

Are you really comparing a 10 year old and a 16 year old?

Usually a woman loses custody if drug use is involved.
From reading and the timeline. I'm going to think the initial hook up was consential. But then afterwards she realized after he got custody that there was a crime committed.

I remember at LSU we met a group of girls at Sport's (became Reggies). Hung out. Smoked. One guy took a girl back to W Lavelle. He was arrested a few days later. Girl was only 16. Even though she was in a club. Even though she said she went to LSU. It was still statutory. She told her parents and LSUpd questioned all involved.
I've never been so happy to strike out.

Slam dunk black and white felonies have a tendency to wreck your life. He knew or should have known the ramifications of misjudging age on top of getting a minor pregnant. People with impulse control often end up wrecking their lives.

I am betting it is something like this. I have seem him with his daughter on numerous occasions. By all accounts she adores her Dad. This still doesn't explain why the statutory thing was not addressed or why the sealed records. Who freaking knows what the entire truth is.

Wasn’t it stated that the bar (restaurant) was in Hammond?
