I was there, too, today, been going to the same dance competition for five years. The same bathroom I’ve used for five years still has the same broken water faucets- Concessions do suck, and there’s this weird cotton candy man that looks like Quasimodo,(also been there 5 years) who aggravates the hell out of the moms while holding up the cotton candy during dances.

Yes, they did. It was in 91 & it was available on Pay Per View across the country. You can find it on Youtube as it was professionally shot for the PPV. Warrant, Firehouse, & Trixter. The crowd in Lafayette was on fire. Little did they know 6 months later grunge would render all three bands for dead.

I saw Firehouse and Tesla there in 93 I believe.

The last time I went there was about 10 years ago to watch a HS championship game. I know it has had some work since then, but its a dump. Actually it reminded me of a 1980s HS gym with more seating.
