I happened to be in Honolulu on New Year's Eve 1998. Those folks broke the damned knob off the fireworks dial. When they were done the entire island was covered in so much smoke you couldn't see shite. Never seen anything like it since.

My hunting property borders the city limits of a small La town and the deer actually bed inside city limits. They get up in the morning and head through my place to feed. New Year’s Day is always an interesting hunt. Deer are strung the frick out between rut and a normal quiet night turning into Mogadishu all of a sudden.
