Would not work. But these fires, or at least the size and scope of these fires are, or were, entirely avoidable. Due to efforts of environmentalist groups, California has for decades refused to properly maintain their forests and allowed them to become gargantuan tinder boxes. And now it seems they’ve also ignored the need to even be able to effectively fight fires as well. What’s happening in California is indeed a disaster, but it’s a disaster that’s mostly of their own making.

They've neglected it for years not cutting back the brush, rejecting water from Canada to save one species of fish, going woke with DEI Firefighter hires now they are paying the price. Their fire hydrants are bone dry.
