Currently making 4hr round trips to MS.

As for people running everything on 3 acres, that's BS or they have a whole house gen which is not what we are discussing.

As for the reserve. Non Ethanol gas has a 6 month shelf life, hurricane season is 4-5 months. I am sure you can figure out the rest. Purchase in bulk in July and sell in Oct.

My cul-de-sac is pooling. 1 person takes 2 gas cans each for 6 or 8 families and goes to find gas every couple days. We take turns. That way everyone doesn't waste gas driving to get gas separately. I'm not saying that's what the guy in the picture is doing but if it were, it would look the same.

That because there was no gas or power on the Northshore Tuesday night.

Still only a handful.

Head to the junction of Hwy 10 and 19. Citgo. Wait in a five car line for 5 pumps. No purchase limit this morning. One hour and 15 minutes each way.

It’s not so much the supply as it is getting drivers to truck in the drops.

How can it be better after a monster fricking storm? You think NY and NJ did better in Sandy? You think Texas did better in Harvey?

What you are exposing is your softness and impatience.

I hate them both, but this isn't on them. You have to stop viewing government as your savior.

Lots of terminals are rolling trucks out. Saw where Exxon has already done over 10M gallons out of BR refinery terminal. Also believe they have started up a couple distillation columns as well

Until power comes back or people go broke, this won’t slow down for a few weeks. People normally burn 10-15 in a normal work week are burning 45 right now with generators and the search for fuel

Just toss a lit cigarette into his truck bed for the greater good.

That's what I'm banking on. I'm working every day and don't really know when I'm going to be able to get gas. Cletus who's using his fancy generator to run everything in his house will hopefully run out of disposable cash soon and will be back to battery operated fans so I can make it to work.

Imagine all of the people pulling the trigger on natural gas generators after this debacle.

You'll be able to get gas all over in the next couple of days. Quit worrying about Cleetus who is better prepared than you.

That sounds like the place that was a $40 limit, cash only earlier in the week.

It was. Not this morning.Only five cars in line at 9 am. I guess no need for a limit. Plus I hear in Norwood the station has had gas all week.
