Find a good Licensed person to speak with, even make two or three appointment, each with a different person, treat like a job interview, see which one you want to hire.

Why exercise when we can just do the same shite as we always have but can take a pill to make me fill good. I don't mind taking it several times a day for the rest of my life.

If you want to reduce depression, then pray the rosary once a day, go to confession once a week, and go to mass every Sunday.
Take a leisurely walk about 30-30 minutes per day.
If you do these things your depression/anxiety will greatly reduce.
If you want to reduce it further, then go to adoration one hour per day also.

I feel like the harder I try with diet and meditation like stuff the worse my anxiety is.. but I have health anxiety and worry over every sensation and just over worry in general..
I would say exercise probably does help the most as well as just simply staying as active as possible.. even when you don’t feel like it..

Right there is no quick fix. We all want immediate results but this is about building new healthy habits.. we have built ourselves a certain way through pattern and sometimes you have to just break the pattern with reps over time. A lot of it does begin with a mindset.. but it’s all a process. Drugs can help but you still have to commit yourself to getting well.. I’m very anti drugs and all natural as possible, but really some people can benefit from them + a new approach.

Wow you sound exactly like me with the advice you gave. I use to take cold baths when I was having panic attacks daily.. that was rough but the only way I could calm it.
Breathing exercses help now. The nostril breathing is best for me. I don’t even do the counting.
And yes getting pissed at it and telling it to bring it can be effective. It’s so hard to find joy when you are in constant pain, especially mental that becomes physical...but you must find interests in things you enjoy.. in something you enjoy. Over time you can convince yourself you’re going to be okay and from there it does get easier..

Yeah vitamin d3, getting out in the sun and simply just walking can help immensely. Fish oil helps and magnesium oil on your skin or taking magnesium orally.
I know listening to music, people, or whatever with headphones has helped me tune out as well.

One last post and I’m done for the night.
Sleep is important.. and there is a supplement called l-tryptophan. It’s all natural and helps with sleep. Which is crucial. Take it before bed.. it increases your serotonin naturally without any side effects. Some people swear it works better than ADs but we are all different. It definitely helps me get better sleep when my mind is racing. I suggest trying it to anyone considering ADs..
ADs seem to keep me up all night and make sleep very difficult so I don’t go that route. I don’t have depression but anxiety.. more specifically health anxiety/hypochondriac crap.
Tryptophan has one bad incident a very long time ago and it was due to a bad batch that wasn’t regulated. It is completely safe in today’s time. It’s also one of the few supplements that is way more effective than the actual food. It’s the stuff in turkey..
I suggest reading the book the mood cure.
I also suggest given the supplement ashawaganda (sp?) a look. It’s very amazing for nervousness and it helps with weight loss. I’m actually very thin since going through my anxiety though. Ashawaganda is so good for your body because it restores your adrenals and hormones.. and acts as if you had exercised in many ways.
B12 deficiency may be another thing to look into. B vitamins make me feel amazing. Especially vitamin water.
Again research it. And you can take it if you’re on ADs but they must be separated by like 8 hours. Check all that stuff out through and good luck!
Again all these tips and tricks are just tools. It still takes a new mindset, new beliefs.. and seeing things differently.. which takes healthy habits and not always giving in. It’s frustrating when people say just get over it. If it was that simple we absolutely would. At the same time though a lot of it is implanted in our core beliefs. Practicing mindfulness and slowing things down is very beneficial. Use all your senses.

John Snow and Dany have zero chemistry, and watching them onscreen together is awkward as hell.
