The whole "indigenous" point is nothing more than a silly rhetorical circle-jerk for people looking to engage in "colonizer" rhetoric. These are the same types who look at "Indians" (feather, not dot) as a single monolithic group who lived in peace, love and harmony with each other and nature before the evil white people showed up.

Sheinbaum admitted to her people recently that illegals from Mexico were taking resources from the US and sending them to their families back home, and that was good for Mexico. And that's colonialism. Something the left claims to find anathema. But the colonialism they actually detest is that which preceded modern colonialism, when White Europeans went around the world elevating people out of the darkness of human sacrifice, cannibalism, and demon worship into the light of Christ and his teachings. That's the colonialism they despise. White/European hatred has its roots here.
