Baton Rouge gets its drinking water from Mississippi (the state) rainwater that fell there during the time of Christ prior to filtering through a rocky sand mixture under East Feliciana Parish that lacks the amount of hard minerals and sulphur levels of almost anywhere else in the world which naturally creates an incredibly soft product that needs hardly anything but a small bit of chlorine before being drank.

Please educate yourself before trying to speak intelligently about a subject you truly know nothing about.

Second of all I was curious, so I googled it, didn't find Baton Rouge in the top 10 on the first 4 results. Please provide a link that claims BR is even second best.

1st page 3rd link Brosef---

And the water comes from deep aquifers NORTH of the city, not south. Brosef.

I like IPAs, receive a shipment of Russian River sours once a month, and make constant trips to Parish.

However, I haven't let that make he a huge douchebag when it comes to beer. I have no idea why some people who like beer have allowed it to make them insufferable shitstains

Our water is pulled from a natural underground aquifer thousands of years old you dumbshit. It is some of the most potable in the country.

Tin Roof is terrible. I guess nobody on the decision making side is a beer drinker, and/or cares about LSU aligning with quality products.

LSU should have partnered with Parish or Great Raft. Hopefully LSU fires/parts ways with Tin Roof soon.

Tin Roof is pretty terrible.

I'll give this beer a shot, but I'm not expecting much.

I was very impressed with their Commotion Pale Ale that I had a few months ago. Wish I could get it in Austin.

Dude, you are so clueless, time only permits me to address the most egregious of the errors in your post. Baton Rouge water comes from aquifers located primarily at 1500, 2000 and 2300 feet. The average depth of the references swamp is 2-4 feet. Think they have anything to do with one another? And oh yeah, our deep aquifers recharge up in Mississippi and flow north to south. Again, where are these swamps you refer to? (hint, the answer is in your post, possibly the only accurate thing in there).

Back to OP-Tin Roof beers, other than Parade Ground, have been complete crap. Firing the head brewer and his son was sorely needed and long overdue. I really hope they get better. Just like I keep wishing, in vain, that Abita would get better. Thankfully, we have more options than ever and don't have to settle for substandard crap like we did not that long ago.
