Following. I have a 2 year old and a 2 month old and a lot of tile. It’s the main thing we want to do to the house is rip it out and put something that appears to be wood. I figured this would cost me well north of 20k

Edit to add: I also hear it’s a complete mess to remove that tile. I figure that’ll displace us for a few days.

Same. My wife begs me to use it but it has a smell and I refuse. If I could find someone to service it I’d feel better but that doesn’t exist. Nobody does it. One day I’ll rip the shite out and put an electric one just for ambiance haha
My first girl is 6 weeks old. I’m not ready for her to grow up. I just hope her teenage years are nothing like my father in law says my wife’s were.
How do y'all prep your boxes? I usually just throw the previous nest out after the babies leave. I’ve heard of spraying them with bleach or something though. I still have a nest in there right now from who knows when that I need to take care of.
I guarantee he wants it more and works harder than anyone on our line last year.

Ole Miss offered him in October 2023. We can scour Ole Miss offers for the last 6 years and probably find some of our hidden targets

re: Added a 120sqft loft to my shop

Nice little shop. What size is it? I’m looking at building one myself currently. Debating on building vs. something like Tuff shed.

Enjoy the project with your dad while you can. Mine has always been so handy. Can fix and build anything. He’s now 74 and it hurts that he’s declining in this area. Working on projects with him now is dangerous. He tends to get hurt every time.
Bumping this to see if anyone successfully found any good sand for leveling in the Prairieville area. Looks like there were a few replies here, but no sign that any of them worked out. I know its early, but I have some new damage from people driving through my yard recently so I'm planning ahead to fix things this spring. Thanks for any info.

This is actually what brought me here. I saw this and thought it would be awesome if it worked, but I have my doubts. That's ideal to prevent it before it happens. I've used a stone a few times and it seems to work, but I was always concerned about roughing it up and causing any damage.
City water. It seems to ruin everything.

Mineral stains in toilets and showers

I have really hard water (I think is what you’d call it) and my toilets always have brown rings. In the guest bathroom when it’s not used often, everything under the water line is often brown. Anyone found anything good to help with this? Would be nice to prevent it but even if I could just clean it would be nice.

Also, porcelain tile in the shower. What’s your go to shower cleaner? I have a nice tile shower and I use a curtain and refuse to put a glass door on because it will be ruined so quickly.
22 months and 1 week here. The 22 month old randomly started projectile vomitting for an hour today. Then just stood up like nothing happened and continued with the early onset terrible 2s. Merry Christmas yall.
A couple of years ago my wife wanted to watch father of the bride which turned into hours of Steve Martin movies

This year we put on uncle buck for the first time and now I’m on a John Candy binge. Planes trains and automobiles yesterday that I somehow missed during the previous Steve Martin watch.

This sounds like what I’m looking for. I thought I’d find something like this online but haven’t seen any type of kit.

I’m 38 currently sitting in the hospital with my second. 22 months apart. Raising a coffee for my fellow old dads.

As for Christmas, 10/10. I already loved Christmas (and most holidays) but now my little boy and brand new little girl just make them more special. However, all I want for Christmas this year is sleep.

I’m probably explaining poorly, essentially I don’t want to go wider than the camper. So 12’ wide 50’ ish feet long. My 30 foot camper would fit and then behind that would be 12 x 20 shed. The front wouldn’t be enclosed, the back would.
