The Philadelphia Experiment is also another good one I'd like to know the answer to.

could have bit it off when the avalanche hit her?
The missing tongue/eyes/skin wasn't a mystery. She was lying face down in a creek with moving water. Natural process took it away, she was that way for a few months. That part was explained.
The unexplained part was the extreme compression/pressure like injuries that killed some of them without any indication of outward force like a brutal attack causing it. If it was an avalanche, how did everyone walk away from the tent under their own power? Footprints were all involved were found living the tent under their own power. The people that were found with the damaging injuries that didn't die from hypothermia were the furthest away from the camp. The ones furthest from camp had also shown that they had taken clothes from the ones that had already died. Lots of radioactivity. It's a crazy incident.
There were some missile launches that were supposedly in the area. Could of had something to do with that.

Someone else pulled the same thing off over Utah, and survived. He was captured on the ground later.

On April 7, 1972, McCoy boarded United Airlines Flight 855 under the alias "James Johnson" during a stopover in Denver, Colorado. The aircraft was a Boeing 727 with aft stairs (the same equipment used in the D. B. Cooper incident), via which McCoy escaped in mid-flight by parachute after giving the crew similar instructions as Cooper had. McCoy had obtained a $500,000 cash ransom, and carried a novelty hand-grenade and an empty pistol. Police began investigating McCoy following a tip from a motorist. The driver had picked up McCoy hitch-hiking at a fast-food restaurant, where McCoy was wearing a jumpsuit and carrying a duffel bag. McCoy had also described to an acquaintance how easy it would be to carry out such a hijacking.[3]
Following fingerprint and handwriting matches, McCoy was arrested two days after the hijacking. Ironically, McCoy was on National Guard duty flying one of the helicopters involved in the search for the hijacker. Inside his house, FBI agents found a jumpsuit and a duffel bag filled with cash totaling $499,970

It's not exactly a life or death conspiracy, but in 2004 Austin residents discovered that what was then the tallest building in town takes the shape of an angry owl staring down at the U. Texas campus at night.
There are rumors that the corporate owners at Frost Bank are part of a secret society, and rumors that the architect was a spiteful Rice University (Owls) alum.
All OT sarcasm aside, does anyone know the real story?

There's a huge owl statue at Bohemian Grove. Assuming the bank owners are extremely rich and powerful, they could be members.

I'm not dying to know, but I would add Jon Bennett Ramsey to the list.
