Depends on my mindset at the time and where I’m going. Sometimes a dread a 5 hour drive but don’t mind a 10 hour drive.
I did 4 straight days of 15 hour drives across the country one time and just listened to a shite ton of podcasts. When I saw 4-6 hours remaining it seemed like nothing compared to what I had already driven.

I’m a hardcore Trump conservative and an atheist. Religion or Christianity doesn’t cross my mind anymore after converting 20 years ago. I have no issue with religion, to each their own.

I send the family in while I pump the gas then move to an open spot. Once I walk in, I grab what I want and meet them at the register. Prevents me from having to walk around and “shop”

That’s probably true and I don’t disagree with you. I’ve served under Bush 2, Obama, Biden and Trump twice and nothing has changed with how my platform has approached the mission.
That might not be true for everyone but it’s just my experience. This isn’t me saying I wouldn’t pick Trump 100% of the time to lead our military by the way.

The military was still doing some cool shite regardless of the President. The only difference is getting to do cool shite and not having to worry about the circus side programs democrats try to implement. Hegseth is the real difference maker in my opinion. Cleaning up fitness standards is a big one for me

Tell him to score high on the ASVAB. Not an expert but the schooling will probably take 2 years, he will have to sign a 6 year contract and it’s one of the best jobs to get bonuses for reenlistments.

100% agree. As an atheist, I’d rather be surrounded and governed by Christians than Muslims or non-religious extremists.
But just pointing out not all atheists are rudderless, most of them were raised in a religious household but chose a different path somewhere along the way.
