Looks like the gust front to the south has choked off most of the inflow to the circulation. Correlation coefficient and velocities have broadened in the last few frames.

Might be the high wind causing the transformers to blow and not an actual funnel possibly?

Luckily, these cells have stayed clustered and HP and that has had them cycling up and then getting choked off by the rear flank downdraft most of the day.

It’s weakening.

Can’t imagine a direct hit on Hartsfield.

Hail is gonna be a problem for the planes on the ground, though.

Golf ball hail about 5-7 miles north of here in Fairburn at Senoia Rd.

Rain just picked up, but no hail or strong straight line yet.

One of the positives for HP cells. The negative is the lack of visibility due to rain. Scary not being able to see a tornado.

Still just heavy rain and lightning, the thunder hasn't been bad either.

(North Peachtree City)

Hang tight.

Good chance for a tornado warning but not so much for north of Peachtree.

Nvm, it petered out.

TWC just had video from a storm chaser in Jacksonville where a church suffered complete outer wall and roof failure.

DAL 1898 to Indy? Yea that is a heck of a departure path, when departing to the east in normal weather the regular fix would have him turn left and head up northwest over Marietta.

In this case he'll get damn near to Columbus by the time he makes his turn north.

Weather just picked back up, some good gusts hitting the house.
