My mom is in River Oaks. Dad's in downtown Covington. Anyone got any scoop on these areas? She's taking all of the precautions now, says the news seems to show it heading generally towards the neighborhood.

No, that just reflects high returns, ie. very heavy rain, hail, or debris that is being lofted.
