We're in North Central AR and just came down to the basement. The weather said there was rotation in Mountain Home, and was heading for us, about 15 miles from th there. It got really windy and lots of rain, thunder and lightning. And, since I left my glasses upstairs, i have no idea what I've really typed.

Any reports of whether that Clarks cell ever had a tornado on the ground? I was running south on 165 when that thing got warned the first time. Phone started buzzing and going crazy, radio went nuts, and next thing I know, I'm listening to a tornado warning with no cover in sight. All I could do was step on the gas and get the hell out of there. Stopped in Tullos and headed into the DG to wait it out.

Here we go for Little Rock Metro. I’m ready to get this through Cabot so my old arse can go to bed. Just issued tornado warning for Pulaski and Lonoke Counties (Little Rock and east).

Yes, but there’s not much at all to speak of there.

Here’s video of the first tornado in Arkansas. Hate to say it but the dumbass speed up while hauling a brand new trailer. Supposedly they were hurt. And it’s a Facebook link.
Let’s speed up towards the tornado.

I'm starting to believe those reports of some meteorologists claiming that tornado alley has shifted deeper in the south to include more areas in Louisiana.
New Orleans and Convent have been especially tornado prone, for whatever reason I cannot fully explain. I think it has to do with how the heating of the land reacts to the position of Gulf moisture and water around that particular area.
