Get the trigger finger release done - preferably by a board certified hand surgeon. It’s a 3 minute procedure and is the gold standard.

Just had trigger finger surgery in December. Tried the steroid shot first and it helped for a while but then ended up having the surgery. Middle finger on my left hand.

It was momentarily uncomfortable. If I can handle it, you can! It wasn’t that bad, like a big cold pain lasting maybe 10 seconds. Afterwards I had mild soreness and still experienced the triggered fingers and morning pain for about a week, then it quickly got better. I had to have 2 shots but it hasn't come back in 1.5 years. Hope you find something helps. I know it's a bitch, especially if work related.
