Why must everyone in this society be constantly praised for doing their job?

Nowhere did I say they needed to be praised. But I did get annoyed when I thought someone was denigrating the job they do and the manner in which they do it.

I think there may be confusion between the difference between the two.

I fly out of MSY Tuesday 20th at 6:45 pm. Is that going to be a problem?

IF they do their job well and diligently, then I think praising workers is probably a pretty effective part of a management approach. Not the only part of course.

If someone denigrates the job they do, oh well, deal with it. That's why people are paid salaries....to deal with s**t.

Again, that's their job.

Just to add, I was wrong about the initialization too, this morning it seemed too high, but 6 hours later it's where they said it was at 9.

Idk whose post it was, but it was in that conversation.

How far west do we want the "center" to go to ensure the bad eastern rain bands still stay to the west of us?

maybe Matagorda Bay? if it gets better organized, it should tighten up some which would be helpful for those to the east of landfall.

From a NOLA perspective do I want this thing to move east or west to miss the flooding rains?

So judging by this map, Lafayette is expecting to get about 2 inches?
