Was never forecast to be super strong. Mostly a rain maker, and dry air has impacted that for some areas.

Dry air ate this system up..... and that front coming across the Midwest is gonna grab this thing up and it will be gone pretty quick... the BR area dodged a bullet here....

How can you say this:
quote:

the BR area dodged a bullet here....

When before, you predicted this:
quote:

just some rain..... wind gusts at about 15-20 mph... you should be fine.

Are you trying to troll two message boards AND yourself now? Or can you just not keep up with your shitty posts?

From this point forward, when storms come and I do not get 4 feet of water in my home that is not in a flood zone, then I will feel I dodged a bullet.

1st off... that is someone else mocking my persona on here... 2nd a poster asked me how a drive from NO to Slidell would be and that was the correct answer...

3rd off is the fact that YOU are the troll....

But whatever... I was spot on here with saying BR would get 4-5 inches max.... flame me all you want... I really don't care....

tbh basically every message board poster in 2017 is a troll.

some trolling is good, other trolling is bad, but its pretty much 100% trolling.

I'll hand it to you - as of now you were correct. But this storm isn't over yet and if you take a look at the radar, you'll see another band setting up to come training over the BR area later. Rain is also continuously trying to reform over Ascension, Livingston, and the lakes. This aint over yet.

Gulf Shores has prohibited anyone from entering waters within their city limits today, those who do are subject to fines or jail time.

Yet, I keep seeing countless videos of people letting their kids in the water.

I never said the rain was over... I have been watching the radar all morning and as stated before there is a big cluster of storms heading toward NO as we speak... I am just glad the storm didn't develop into something more serious than it did.. two days ago it seemed everyone was pretty spoiled by what this system had the potential to do. With good reason... after last August the slightest hint of something like this coming our way gets people real nervous....
