hey does anyone know where the NOLA tornado originated?

Driving through the Elmwood area right now and I don't see any flooded roads. Which part of Elmwood? The normal Clearview "Canal" is unusually high and dry.

I don't understand why they'd jump the gun like that? I mean landfall is not even expected until the wee hours of Thursday morning. Any effects will not be felt until a few hours prior to then.

This rain is like 5/10 on the bad scale. I've seen worse in a normal Spring rain day.

Been getting a lot of rain here in SE Louisiana the past hour unfortunately. Hasn't really rained this hard. River levels were looking good a few hours ago but I'd imagine this hard rain is going to screw that up.
