Went with the BAKflip and really like it. You lose too much bed near the cab with the roll n lock one and the soft tops look trashy.

Had a Bakflip on my Tacoma. It leaked like crazy though. Would not recommend

I'm glad for ya. If it hadn't been for the leaking I really would have liked it. I don't know if I got a bad one or if it wasn't installed properly, but it always leaked badly in the front right behind my cab

Go Diamondback. Well worth it.
Expensive but absolutely worth it. Only thing I don't love is it's hard to get to the front section of the bed. Bht these are virtually leak proof, far more secure and can haul something like an ATV (or 2) on top.

I had the pace edwards roll top when they first came out. Loved it.
I have a Leer camper shell now. If I need to haul something I just pull a trailer. You can fit so much in there. Hell I slept in in one night when camping because it was raining so hard the tents were leaking.

Every retractable cover I ever had leaked, either water or dust or both.
The joint seals eventually fail and I ended up discarding.
If you are concerned about any leakage, go with the full fiberglass type cover.

the only place water gets into the bed of my truck is through the seams between the tailgate and the sides of the truck.

You didn’t get a bad one. They all leak to some extent, better to get a full cab high cap if you don’t want water.

My previous truck was a 2011 F-150 and it came with a hard tri-fold back flip. I liked it, but it did leak a little between cover and tailgate. This year I bought a another F-150, I would have transferred the cover but the bed models were too different. Backflip costs between $800-$950 from what I saw. I ended up purchasing a soft top tri-fold from tonneau covers. It's obviously not as heavy duty, but it is very easy to install and remove as needed, and absolutely zero leaks thus far, and it was significantly cheaper at $280.
