Funny enough Gina Katon (GATEB) (the woman in the pic you posted) did a song with The Snowy White Owl called Pussy Gon Eat You.

He foresaw having to go in there and fire 80% of them. The employees were talking shite about him before he even bought it.

Not sure how you are supposed to run a company if you don't trust any of the employees.

Well the company you purchased has hired and fired based of political ideology. You might have to just fire them all and hire based on skills and talent.

There's like 50 people stuck in a Twitter parking garage in Sunnyvale right now - the barrier arm won't go up because their badges are disabled. Someone in facilities management is supposedly bringing them a sawzall.

Elon will not have a problem finding experienced coders.

People who voluntarily left twitter are ignoring the enormous amount of people who have been laid off from Facebook, Apple, and Amazon.

You don't voluntarily leave your job when there has been massive industry-wide layoffs.

Unless the severance agreement was that payments stop if you get another job. Facebook in particular gave the best severance package I've ever seen. I'd ride it out until the end.

The company is losing money.

You either lose more money at the beginning to clean things up to make the company healthy in the future.

And

Get rid of the dead weight.

It is a business that was losing money. If the government or DNC was helping to offset the losses I would be shocked.

What you Lefties don’t understand is that either way what Elon did was good and will lead to a better country and general discourse. Either Elon makes Twitter a free speech platform and it thrives or he runs it into the ground and destroys it. Either way, the world is a much better place than it was a few months ago before Elon was on the table of running it. There’s no possible scenario where the freedom minded and decent people lose

Nailed it.

I’m not sure we are lucky enough for Facebook to be next.

This an exponentially more difficult task than anything Twitter is doing.

As someone in tech who recently worked on a Zoom like project, I can say that number seems about right. What Zoom is doing as actually hard.

While I am sure Twitter has many dependencies behinds the scenes, its primary function isn't very challenging. The challenge comes in building something that scales well to such a massive scale.

There has to be a way to raise the arm without sawing it.

I disagree, Twitter’s underlying core operating infrastructure is far more challenging than say Zoom but more importantly, what is needed to generate profit is far more difficult.

This isn’t licensing software that you can occasionally release updates for, It’s a near real-time public facing social media platform that relies on advertising dollars to generate revenue, and now, pay off 1.2 billion in annual interest payments.

There was obviously a lot of bloat, and that was why pre-Musk they had already began cutting back staff from their growth period, but this isn’t Craigslist, or even Zoom. And right or wrong, their immense tech stack and the nature of their business can’t just be unwound and rebuilt over night. shite doesn’t work that way. And if they want to relaunch a leaner version, that takes time and investment and manpower, and Musk is apparently scaring off nearly all the core talent with the institutional knowledge to do it. You lose that and it can take a long time to replace from scratch. Meanwhile, he needs an injection of revenue now at the same time his new revenue stream crashed and burned on launch and threatened his core revenue stream(advertising) in the process. The coming days/weeks will be interesting to watch unfold

As usual, your takes are the dumbest of the dumb. Just throwing out misplaced buzzwords like "LARPING" and "owned" like an idiot. Some people on here might be tech retarded, as opposed to you, who's just good old fashioned retarded.

No kidding. This idiot and his other Groomer Commies talk as if they have first-hand knowledge of how the company is run, what their complete tech model is, etc.

Reality is, just like everything else of value in the world, they know nothing, they contribute nothing, and only want to hijack and use it for their gain.
