Just talked to my buddy who lives one house from the corner there. He reports none of the neighbors heard shots so they think the car was just dumped there. If that turns out to be the case, the location could have absolutely zero to do with the crime and/or the proximity to Staring and Gardere.

The Detectives were coming by to review his CCTV footage but he told them not to bother since PiscesTiger already has this figured out.

Makes sense. Why would any of the parties involved be in that exact area? Previous reports said (by the News mind you, which of course is worth nothing in 2015) neighbors "heard shots" at 11 p.m. I totally believe that is false and that the car was dumped there. In any event, I still believe that the crime occurred somewhat nearby. If it occurred in Denham, kudos for picking out a selective location.

My best guess? A cousin or a male friend lured them over...free drugs for sex type of thing. I am sure Brandi Gilbert was the driver and was promised a lot of the same. Typical case of getting the sex and maybe giving away just a little coke/dope to get the party started and then taking back the whole offer after execution style.

The 8100 block of Boone is surrounded by all sorts of side streets and at 11 pm, there is still plenty of traffic. I am sure some dirt went down elsewhere (possibly up the road in Gardere area) and this was a location that gave the shooter(s) a good escape route.

These aren't criminal masterminds we're dealing with. The one bitch already was arrested for being a whore. They weren't in BR to create a merger with another financial institution. How is it so damn difficult to figure out that they were both over here to do some tricks for cash/drugs? And Dallas isn't a stone's throw from here...and if you look on her FB page, do you think Corrin, with her job at Burger King from failed tricking in the DFW area, owned a car that worked? That's why I said the other girl was likely the driver. I doubt they flew in round-trip and were seen spending so much cash at Elgin's and Anthropologie that someone had to do a high-stakes robbery on them
