I believe unions had a purpose. They succeeded and now need to adapt to still have value. They need to start self policing their members sfety and productivity. Instead, they use good working people as pawns to fill their pockets and fund their agenda

Exactly ... The propaganda they brainwash the union members with is truly unbelievable - as illustrated by a particular poster here - yet, many continue to follow along like sheep, and refuse to recognize they are being used. Without a doubt, the union "powers that be" could not give 2 fricks about the welfare of its members.

Hey razor pig....there are certain people in this world who try and suck out any kind life from anything and your my sir are one of those people. You are the type that takes a jab at anyone who is asking for anything to be better their lifestyle or wage. Why do you care? Are you in this career field?

Not disagreeing with you, but the company's that most of these unions are in think of their employees less than they do the contract workers.

There is a definitive line that has been drawn and neither side is willing to budge. I have worked on both sides of it, and both are guilty of manipulating their base to suit their purpose.

Maybe not. Or maybe they had a good support team proofing their work. Or they got a degree from an online college.

Just saying ive had planners who didnt know the difference between "are" and "or" yet had credentials similar

I decided to follow in the foot steps of my family in my career. Everyone has the right to chose their own path . Your own statement you made is why people who do not work in our industry (oil/gas) truly do not understand what it is we do . Just as I would not comment or bash other industries because until you walk in their boots/ shoes you have no idea what the individual has to overcome each day.

Yet you infer that you work longer, harder and have a more dangerous job than everyone else.
