That guy was waiting for AD. He obviously sat his drink down waiting for the right time to hit him. This was not a reaction to the moment that the girl walked up to AD.

It’s because of who it is.
This happens to Joe Tourist and people get outraged.
It happens to Andy Dick and everyone goes “Yeah, he probably did something to deserve it” because Dick is notorious for misbehavior, especially when he is loaded.

Add to that the guy looked to be on the balls of his feet shifting his weight back and forth constantly he was amped before the girl came back to stand beside him.
It seems there was some issue prior but we don't know if it was Dick's comedy or something more personal.
