I can understand why you’d have this perspective. You could argue that if he was well-known to agents, there was motive to gun him down when the opportunity presented itself.
BUT….it all goes back to choices. He chose to protest this cause for some reason. He chose to defend and assist in harboring illegals and criminals. Social media, Frey, and Walz told him and others this was a worthy cause, for reasons that I still don’t understand. He and others have such a hatred for Trump, conservatives, and anybody who disagrees with them, that taking to the streets and interfering with the law sounds like a good idea.
He is a victim, a victim of poor choices.

I believe he's speculating that the dead guy's gun misfired while in the hand of the agent who disarmed him.
Personally I think the agent probably negligently engaged the trigger in the scuffle. Either way from them calling out his gun, to being disarmed, to being shot, it was all within a second.

Pretties gun was never fired
Only two glocks from agents were fired
No mention on the report of Pretti reaching for the gun, only mention is an agent yelled “he has a gun” and another agent then grabbed it
