DHS already released their report and mentioned nothing about a misfire so he’s already denying their version of events without realizing it
Granted, more info could always come out, but everything official we have so far says no misfire

So yeah, it’s pretty clear. Even the report from DHS confirms he never brandished it.

I’d like to read the report if you can link it. I know it doesn’t include everything but I’d be shocked if a misfire happened and they didn’t mention it. I only went on reporting I had seen from the NYPost. I thought that was the most recent information.

The likely narrative seems pretty obvious to me - announcement of gun, removal without calling it as secured, Pretti makes a move toward his waistband, shots

I think over time, BP and ICE stop seeing aggressive agitators as men vs women. The women can be the most aggressive thinking they can get away with anything. I don’t think Alex, especially given today’s video, was trying to protect a woman. But rather, he was taking every chance he could to engage BP. I don’t think that can be disputed at this point.

Brandishing doesn't have to be waving a gun around. It can be just pulling a shirt back and making sure its presence is known.
Either he was carrying because he was worried for his safety out with the general MstP public he supposedly cared deeply for, or it was for the ICE officers he had already been in physical altercations with.
My money is on the latter.

I read the articles. I was looking for the full report. Because it’s likely missing a lot of details. But that’s a big one for sure.

I don't believe you believe it was a 5 second interval between actions unless you didn't watch the video. Count to five and then watch again. Absurd.
