Yes..100% I had 3 mega dose IV's eachabout 3 days apart, 10 years ago that killed my mono as well....i know a doc with inoperable colon cancer that cured his cancer and has been cancer free 15 years.
Now, saying that, I am talking MEGA dosing, not this bay dhit that the IV therapys thay are popping up everywhere do. I went in one ehere in BR to ask for 50,000 mgs and they said

High doses can be acidic and tear your fricking mouth up. Don't go to crazy.

Minimally.
What I do is, as soon as I know a cold is going around, is buy a pack of zinc lozenges. I use those because the zinc slows viral reproduction thereby giving my immune system a head start.
I also do the other home remedies like Vitamin C, soup, tea, and spicy food before I get sick. Sometimes that keeps me from getting sick at all.
