The irony is Trump wants $5/barrel crude to drive down inflation. He doesn’t want to inflate the price and hurt his administration’s goals.

If we pull this off decisively then China will play nice for a little bit. They play the long game and won’t make a move on Taiwan if they know they will get 100% of our response.

We aren’t invading anyone. We are going to use our overwhelming air power to force them into submission or at least weaken them enough for other internal forces in Iran to take command.
