I know the story is fake, but I wish everyone would collectively stop tipping. Crying abt free labor when you literally have an employer is insane to me. Will never understand why we subsidize other people's wages.

Thats one thing that is infuriating about the resturant industry.
Its almost like free labor, where you depend on your customers to pay your staff. I hate the tipping culture and really dispise eating out. Everyone has been steadily raising their prices since covid. The quality feels like it dropped as well.
People dont understand, the most of the staff are not paying into social security. Not that we are looking actively to depend on it.
